HONGKONG

THE DEPARTURE
Hongkong is 693 miles away from Philippines and that's a 2hr trip by plane from Cebu-Hongkong. We departed at 5 in the afternoon and we arrived around 7 in the evening at the Hongkong Airport.

THE ARRIVAL (HONGKONG AIRPORT)
Hongkong International Airport is one of the largest airport in the world with a very clean and organized environment. You can even say that it is larger than the Mall of Asia in Manila. It has around 500 gates in the building and you can find long walkalators here and also a train to transport you from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2.

THE STREETS OF HONGKONG
What I've observed about the people in Hongkong, is that, they love to walk. I only see a little people rode buses. People here don't wake up early but they do sleep late as well. Establishments there opens at 11am and closes around 12mn. Funny thing is that, most of the people there don't take a bath and they smell awful. I don't even like their food as well, so we only always dine at KFC or McDonalds. Hongkong is divided into two parts: Kowloon side and Hongkong side. What you can see on the Kowloon side are the ordinary people but on the Hongkong side, there live the rich people. As you can see on the third pic of this paragraph (Kowloon), it's kinda crowded. The things I like in Hongkong are the boutiques that you can find on every side of the road.

WHERE WE STAYED
Royal Plaza Hotel -- centrally located in Hong Kong, within easy reach of international transport facilities which is situated in Mongkok in the heart of Kowloon. It is directly linked to Grand Century Place, one of the largest shopping centers in Hong Kong with over 200 shops and a 8-screen cinema. The Hotel is surrounded by numerous tourist attractions and entertainment venues that will fascinate even the most sophisticated visitors. Guaranteed suberb and worth the price.

DISNEYLAND
We hit Disneyland on the third day of our trip. The place was very big and there are so many rides inside the park that you could not even ride them all in just one day. Disneyland is divided into 4 part: Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland and Maine Street. The entire day, we toured around Disneyland and rode many rides as we can. Every 7PM, there's a fireworks show held at the castle that would take 15mins. If you would travel to Hongkong with kids, I would recommend you this place.

OCEAN PARK
Ocean Park is somewhat similar to Disneyland. Here you can find the Pacific Pier where dolfins and sea lions show their talent. In my own opinion, I think they call this place Ocean Park because the park itself is being surrounded by the sea. There are a lot of rides here as well which I could say "more fun" than Disney. The difference between the rides in Disney and in Ocean Park is that, Disney's rides are suitable for children while in Ocean Park, rides are suitable for teenagers. If you've been to Enchanted Kingdom, you could say that it could not even reach half the excitement and fun you'll experience in Ocean Park.

VICTORIA'S PEAK
This was the last day of our vacation. The last place that we went to was the Victoria's Peak. Honestly, I didn't really appreciate the spot because it's just so ordinary. It was just a view of the city at the highest peak of Hongkong. I could have just gone to Tagaytay or Mines View Park in Baguio for this. But despite the disappointment, it was still fun though because on our way back to the hotel, I saw varities of car in Hongkong which you can't find it here in the Philippines. Guess what?... BMW, Mercedes Benz and Ferrari are just ordinary cars in Hongkong.

OUR TOUR GUIDE

We stopped over at NAIA from Hongkong and waited for our flight back to Cebu. Guess who was in our flight to Cebu?

AND THAT ENDED OUR VACATION IN HONGKONG.. NEED I SAY MORE??!!
